After graduating from Cleveland School of Massage, Sheri Phillips, E.M.P., R.P. founded Listening Hands in 2004. In 2006, she moved her quickly growing business into her current facility at 10050 Royalton Road. We visited with Sheri recently, and listened as she offered this description of her services and offerings;

Listening Hands provides a wide range of health and wellness services, including Swedish massage, reflexology, polarity, and Reiki treatments. I offer table and chair relaxation massages, both in the office and on-site at local businesses and homes. Businesses offer my services to their staff members to help them relax, clear their minds, and maintain their focus as they proceed through their daily projects.

Relaxation massages can be very instrumental in promoting good health. They decrease your blood pressure, relax over stressed muscles, and help increase circulation. When you're detoxing your system or doing strenuous exercises, toxins that can create fatigue and illness build up in your muscles. By having a relaxation massage followed by an Epsom salt or Dead Sea mineral bath afterward, these toxins are purged from the body leaving you feeling vibrant and refreshed.

Reiki treatments can be incorporated into a massage, or given by themselves as stand-alone treatments. A natural energy technique which starts from the head and proceeds down through the back and torso, Reiki is a simple, natural, and safe method of spiritual healing and self-improvement that everyone can use. It's a very relaxing technique that is considered to be effective in helping virtually every known illness and malady, and always creates a beneficial effect.

Table massages are typically an hour in length, and Reiki treatments take an hour and a half. Chair massages take approximately twenty minutes, although you can increase the length of the massage if you'd like. Everyone is invited to call me with their massage questions, or to come visit me in the office. Same day appointments are usually available, although you should call first to make sure that I'm here.
