The Drapery Showcase

The Drapery Showcase was founded by Michael and Jill Frings in 1979. Michael had previously gained experience in the drapery installation trade, and Jill attended Ohio University and graduated with a degree in interior design. After building an impressive reputation while running the business from their home for seventeen years, Michael and Jill opened their retail location on Royalton Road in 2002. We met with Jill recently, and listened as she described The Drapery Showcase's services and offerings;

The Drapery Showcase is a full service custom window treatment dealer. We handle fabrication and installation of everything from simple mini-blinds to more elaborate blinds, drapery treatments, top treatments, and draw draperies, in addition to pillows, table skirts, and bedspreads. Our services include taking down draperies, having them cleaned, and re-installing them, and we're well known for our competitive prices.

When we do a job, our goal is to gain customers for life. We have an immense selection of fabrics from which to choose, and each job is customized to fit our customer's tastes and preferences. We service everything we sell, and if there's a problem ten years down the road, our reputation for customer service shows we'll be here to handle it.

We service the entire Northeast Ohio area, working as far east as Willoughby and as far west as Avon and Lorain. Most of our business comes from referrals so we tend to get jobs throughout the Cleveland area, although the majority of our work is in North Royalton, Broadview Heights, and Strongsville.
