The Tractor Place

Raymond and Donetta Klubnik founded The Tractor Place in 1967 when they became the first Troy Bilt dealer in America. The focused on selling Troy Bilt tillers from their home in North Royalton and at the Home and Garden Show until they opened their first retail location in North Royalton in 1974. The following year a second location was purchased in Medina, Ohio, and in 1995 a new state-of-the-art facility was built on Route 18. Today the business is run by Raymond and Donetta's daughters, Andrea, Donerae, and Michelle, along with their son-in-law Brett. We visited recently with General Manager Gary B. Smolik, and listened as he described The Tractor Place's products and services;

The Tractor Place is an outdoor power equipment dealer handling many of the top brands available in yard care today. We offer complete sales, service, and parts on products from a very wide range of manufacturers, but specialize in John Deere, Stihl, Ariens, and Encore. In addition to a complete line of lawn and garden power equipment, we also carry Reddi heaters, pressure washers, and stand-by generators.
