North Royalton Animal Hospital & Boarding Facility was founded in 1957 by Dr. John Paul Bryk, D.V.M., who many people knew as a neurosurgeon at Parma General Hospital. While working at the hospital, Dr. Bryk maintained his veterinary practice by employing other veterinarians to actively run the day to day operations of the animal hospital. Upon Dr. Bryk's passing in 2003, Dr. Kim Smith purchased the hospital which she ran for the following three years. On May 1, 2006, Dr. Bryk's facility came back into his family when ownership was transferred to his daughter Jennifer and her husband, Dr. P. Adam Hechko, D.V.M. We met with Jennifer and Dr. Hechko recently, and listened as they provided this overview of their practice's offerings;

Our veterinarian is here all the time during business hours, performing wellness exams, giving vaccinations, treating allergies, and performing surgeries. Our boarding facility is veterinarian supervised to ensure your pet receives all the services they may require while in our care. From trimming nails and giving baths to performing any type of surgery, our services are designed with the ultimate wellness of your pet in mind.

Our well supervised boarding kennel accommodates pets of all shapes and sizes, and will provide your animal with any medications they may need during their stay with us. We have a separate facility for cats that includes a quiet room where they're unable to hear the barking dogs. Boarders enjoy our enclosed outdoor facility several times each day, and we also have the capability to arrange boarding for many exotic animals, as well.

As a young practice, we're perfectly positioned to grow along with the North Royalton community. We have a terrific staff that is both very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. Even though the hospital has been here over fifty years, our facility still has a comfortable, homey feel. Each year we'll be hosting an annual pet fair complete with games for the community, free popcorn, and prizes.
